At this point in the history of automotive development, it has become pretty clear that customers in Calgary, AB and the rest of Canada feel pretty good about the electric vehicle. With gas prices always unsteady and more and more buyers making purchasing decisions with environmental friendliness in mind, it makes perfect sense that Chevrolet is working so hard to make sure that their EV options are the very best they can be. That is, for example, why they’ve done so many good things with the forthcoming 2017 Chevy Bolt EV, which the automaker recently announced would be able to top 200 miles on a single charge.

Specifically, Chevrolet is saying that the new Chevy Bolt EV will feature an all-electric range of 238 miles. Calgary, AB Chevy customers are welcome to be impressed by so lofty a number because there aren’t any other models even remotely close to it in a similar price range. Frankly, that whopping “238” really is an elite number.

Of course, that’s not all the new Chevy Bolt has to offer. “While range is important, we knew Bolt EV owners would want more — more space and more power — and the Bolt EV delivers,” said Bolt EV Chief Engineer Josh Tavel. “Our team took special pride in optimizing every aspect of this vehicle, especially its impressive range and ride dynamics.”

In essence, that all means that customers here at Shaw GMC Chevrolet Buick are very close to having the opportunity to purchase a green automobile that doesn’t skimp on the other things that make Chevy cars, trucks and SUVs so great. We very much are looking forward to stocking this model and can’t wait to see what other innovations Chevrolet comes up with next!
